Our Story

Meet Ace.

August 15, 2020 – July 5, 2023

Ahmir "Ace" King-Holland was exceptionally bright, adventurous, and full of personality. Most days you could find him dressed as Spider-Man, racing through the house on a new adventure. He loved dancing, riding his bike, and exploring the outdoors with his beloved puppy, Ash.

Our hearts were forever changed on July 5, 2023, when our beloved Ace was tragically taken from us in a car accident, just weeks before his third birthday.

Ahmir "Ace"
King-Holland

August 15, 2020 – July 5, 2023

Ahmir "Ace" King-Holland was born on August 15, 2020. Our hearts were forever changed on July 5, 2023, when our beloved Ace was tragically taken from us in a car accident, just weeks before his third birthday.

In honor of his life and legacy, the Ace World Foundation was established on July 31, 2025. Through this foundation, we are committed to keeping Ace's beautiful spirit alive by transforming grief into giving. While the pain of losing him will always remain, we choose to celebrate the joy, love, and unforgettable memories he brought into our lives.

Ace, the youngest member of our family, was loved by everyone who met him. He possessed a special spark that continues to shine through those who knew him and through the stories, photos, and videos that preserve his memory. Exceptionally bright, adventurous, and full of personality, Ace was truly one of a kind.

His World

Most days, you could find Ace dressed as Spider-Man, racing through the house on a new adventure. One moment he was planning a Nerf gun mission, and the next he was a superhero saving the day. He loved dancing to TikTok videos, riding his bike, playing on his iPad, and exploring the outdoors with his beloved puppy, Ash.

Whether he was running through the park, making memories at Chuck E. Cheese, or simply cuddling with his dad, Ace filled every room with laughter, energy, and love. He was truly the heart of our family.

Why We Exist

Losing a child is an unimaginable journey. There is no handbook for navigating the grief, heartbreak, and life-changing impact that follows such a loss. Through our own experience, we have learned the importance of community, support, and finding purpose through pain.

The Ace World Foundation exists to encourage grieving parents, siblings, and families to keep moving forward one day at a time. We believe that while grief never disappears, hope can coexist with heartbreak. We encourage families to honor their loved ones by living fully, embracing joy, and finding their own "Ace Spark" in the midst of life's challenges.

He wasn't just wearing clothes. He was making a statement. At two years old.

His Best Friend

Ash the Puppy

Ace and Ash were inseparable. He would explore the outdoors with his beloved puppy by his side, laughing, running, and getting into everything a little boy should.

That bond was pure. The kind only children and their dogs understand.
